  2. Fascinating that such diversity which possesses your history does not correspond with your art. You have these beautiful Native American tribe beads and other handwork and stories, a long with African American history with songs that illustrate their lifestyle, and you choose neoclassical! I must say, I do enjoy this style lovingly and the, "Death of Cleopatra" shows her dying with such grace! Plus, resting on her throne...even when deceased she is powerful. I love how you acknowledge influential females and freedom with in your complex carvings.

  3. I find your art pieces very fascinating. Every piece of work you make symbolizes something and tells people that not only can men contribute to art but women as well around that time and now, and not only a woman you are but an African- American/Native American woman. At that time it was tough to receive positive feedback from the public but you got around it. Love the work!
